When we go to and participate in Sunday Mass, we gather as a community to give praise and glory to God and receive Jesus in the Eucharist to strengthen us for the work God asks us to complete. At the end of Mass we are told to “Go” out into the world and proclaim the good news and to serve others. The candidates will be asked to go out and find God’s presence in the world. Each month the candidates will complete the assignment and provide feedback to the Confirmation Coordinator. At each in-person session, a volunteer will present a short explanation of their work and how it aligned with Jesus’ teaching. Here are just a few ideas we will consider: •Go out and find God in Life, document it and how does it impact you. •Talk to parents or other adults about how their faith impacts their job •How can you use technology to future God’s kingdom •Could you be a prayer leader for a team. •Meet at the flagpole: Gather and say a prayer before school •Talk to a famous person that cares about their faith and interview them •Investigate the life a saint and write a short summary of how the Saint lived out the God’s plan for them.
