Masses of Remembrance

Each November we are called to remember in a special way the souls of those who have passed over from this life to eternal life.  This year we will remember all those who have died since last November from both Blessed Sacrament and St. Mary parishes at Masses of Remembrance on Sunday, November 2nd, All Souls' Day, at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Church and 11:30am at St. Mary Church.

At these Masses, we will recall the names of all those whose Funeral Masses were offered in each church during the past year.  This is a simple, yet special way for each of our parishes and the families and friends of loved ones who have passed to come together to remember, celebrate and heal.
If the Funeral Mass of your loved one was said at Blessed Sacrament or at St. Mary’s over this past year, that name will be included.  If you have the name of a loved one who has died but their funeral was held elsewhere, you are welcome to have their name added for remembrance. 

For Blessed Sacrament send a message to the Parish Office or call 508-668-4700. For St. Mary’s please email Pat Chitvanni or call 508-668-4974.  In your message be sure to include the full name of your deceased loved one and which parish you would like to have his/her name added to the remembrance list.  

Please get your request in by October 28th so that we can prepare the lists.          

In addition, this year we will be holding receptions after each of the masses.  The reception at BSP will be in the Community Room and the reception at STM will be in The Rock.   Everyone is welcome!
