YEAR-ROUND Parish OPPORTUNITIES
Faith Formation FacilitatorsIf you are 18+, have completed Virtus: Protecting God's Children (or are willing to), and have a desire to interact with our parish youth, provide testimony of your faith, and accompany youth through the preparation for receiving the sacrament of Confirmation, please contact the Confirmation Team.
Service Project LeadersIn order to provide a more vibrant and productive service program, we are in need of adult volunteers to help coordinate and execute projects. If you are 18+, have completed Virtus: Protecting God's Children (or are willing to), and have a desire to lead others in their call to discipleship, please contact the Coordinator of Ministries.
Lectorsproclaim the Welcome, First & Second Readings, Prayers of the Faithful and any necessary announcements during the celebration of the Mass. A lector guides the congregation in engaging with Scripture, the Word of God, making it accessible and relevant to their lives. SEASONAL Parish OPPORTUNITIES
Blessing Bags for the Homebound(seasonal-- Christmas and Easter) is a ministry for our youth to show their appreciation for our elder and homebound parishioners. From decorating gift bags and sorting the gifts, to stuffing the bags full of goodies and delivering them to our homebound parishioners, there's a way for all of our candidates to join in the fun and be a part of this treasured ministry! Previously only open to our Confirmation Year One & Two candidates, this opportunity is now open to all youth in grades 4 & up. Christmas Blessing Bags, TBD. Easter Blessing Bags, TBD.
Outdoor Mass Volunteers(September 14th, rain date September 21st) We are in need of volunteers to help load heavy items (tables, grill, etc.) onto a truck and unload them in Bird Park on Sunday morning prior to the start of the Outdoor Mass. Meet in Blessed Sacrament parking lot at 10am to load truck, then follow to Bird Park to unload. After BBQ cleanup volunteers also needed. To sign up, click here.

Welcome Receptions for Fr. Heni Washington (October 19th & 26th) Join us in officially welcoming Fr. Heni Washington to our Walpole Catholic Collaborative on Sunday, October 19th in the Community Room after the 930 AM Mass at Blessed Sacrament Parish, and on Sunday, October 26th in The Rock after the 11:30 AM Mass at Saint Mary Parish at our Meet & Greet coffee hours. Masses of Remembrance (November 2nd) In November, we remember all those who have passed into eternal life with a special Mass of Remembrance at each parish. On Sunday, November 2nd, the Feast of All Souls, we will be holding Masses of Remembrance at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Parish and 11:30 AM at Saint Mary Parish, followed immediately by coffee hours in the Community Room at Blessed Sacrament and The Rock at Saint Mary Parish (downstairs in the rectory).
